About CEOAS Advising

CEOAS provides academic advising for undergraduate students who are exploring or majoring in Climate Science, Environmental Sciences, Geography & Geospatial Science, Geology, or Oceanography. Be sure to check out the Expectations of Advising and our Resources for Undergraduates.

New for Fall 2025 Registration:

Required Advising: Students who are in their first year at OSU or who have an OSU GPA of 2.5 or below must schedule an advising appointment to have their registration hold lifted.
Optional Advising: All other students may choose one of the following options to lift their hold
Option1: Meet with your Advisor
- Schedule an appointment in Beaver Hub.
Option 2: Submit a fall term plan in MyDegrees
1. Build your plan using the MyDegrees planner (see MyDegrees planner instructions)
2. Let your advisor know your plan is ready by submitting this form.
3. Your advisor will review your plan, send feedback or approval, and lift the hold.

New Students

Brand new Ecampus students MUST follow these directions on how to set up your initial advising appointment.
Brand new on-campus students MUST attend an OSU New Student Onboarding, which is where you will meet with your advisor and get your hold lifted.
